Timoty Ezra Simanjuntak Criticizes Vadel’s Choice of Razman as Lawyer Against Nikmir
S&P Law Office’s Managing Partner, Timoty Ezra Simanjuntak, was recently interviewed by Cumicumi regarding the controversial case involving Vadel, the boyfriend of L (Nikita Mirzani’s daughter), who is accused of forcing L, still a minor, to have an abortion. The case took a surprising turn when Vadel appointed Razman Nasution as his lawyer, despite Razman’s membership in PERADI having been revoked.
During the interview, Timoty Ezra expressed concern over Vadel’s decision to choose Razman as his legal representative. He pointed out the importance of selecting a credible lawyer, especially in sensitive cases like this one, which involve the rights of a minor. Timoty stressed that this action could affect not only the individuals involved but also how the public perceives legal processes in Indonesia.
Furthermore, Timoty suggested that reconciliation could be a possible solution, not just for the guilty or the innocent, but for the benefit of all parties involved, especially the child. “However, reconciliation cannot be forced by the parents or external parties,” he emphasized. Timoty underscored that this case could serve as a valuable lesson for the Indonesian public, particularly in dealing with family and child-related legal issues.
